| Thank you all for your sweet comments!
Boo died today, at about 5:45pm. I had just gotten out of the pool, and
I went in our room to find him on the bottom of his cage, still alive,
but close to death. I picked him up and was able to be with him for the
last minutes of his life, which I thank God for. He was the sweetest
little parakeet, and I love him very much. We buried him in Mom's
flower garden. Thanks to all who attended his small funeral! (Dad, Mom,
Kevin, Emily, and Paul.) Thank-you to Krissy for the rose, it was very
sweet of you. I will miss you very much, Boo! I love you!
I must go now...it is getting very hard to see the keyboard.

| I have decided that I must post. I am doing just a little better, Mama
says I am perky, but not strong. I can't fly very well, so Mama takes me
wherever I want to go. Last night there were lots of bright white
flashes while Mama was at church, and then my heat lamp went out! I
could not see in the dark. I wanted Mama to come home. Just then, Mama
came in and told me it was o.k. and she covered me up with my blankie.
Then I settled down to go back to sleep.
Boo.

| Hey all! This is Mama...We think Boo has a tumor of some sort near his leg, and he probably won't last too much longer.
He doesn't seem to be in any pain, so that's good.

| I'm not doing very good. Mama has to help me up to my top perch when I
get too hot from sitting by Seed (my heat lamp), 'cause I can't grip
the cage with my foot being half lame. I sit by Seed all day. Boo
